Technology
The Marktronic Multidot 3000 marking System is the flagship dot marking product in the Pryor range. Fully programmable, highly configurable the Multidot 3000 is able to apply a high quality mark in most industrial applications by virtue of its robust modular construction. The configuration options simply mean the Multidot 3000 can be built to meet a single or range of marking applications depending upon the users' specific requirements. The class leading software ensures the system is easy to use whether in its stand alone format or via the MarkMaster™ Windows operating package.

The cast table and column construction together with the unique head design guarantees the system is capable of operating in the most demanding of industrial environments. The modular construction ensures upgrade paths are available to help future proof any system purchased.
Single Marking System for all Requirements
Highly flexible, it suits most marking applications from a single programmable system. Two different marking windows are available as standard options: 100mm x 75mm and 150mm x 150mm ensuring the head is matched to the exact marking requirements. Variable force control ensures optimum mark depth for all engineering materials up to 62 Rc(800 Hv).

Quiet, Fast, Efficient Marking
Requiring no compressed air supply and powered only by a standard 220/110 volt electric source, the Multidot 3000 is both highly efficient and significantly quieter than pneumatically actuated systems. Stand alone or integrated, the separate controller protects the electronics from the mechanical shock loading generated in the marking head. The large high contrast LCD screen gives users clear control over the marking operation without the need for a seperate PC. The controller also provides connectivity options through RS232 serial and digital I/O ports and the optional TCP/IP Ethernet network port.
2D DataMatrix Code Marking
The lead-screw driven marking head guarantees dot precision second to none, making the multidot 3000 the choice for the rigorous demands of 2D DataMatrix Code Marking. The Multidot 3000 may be combined with the Pryor VeriSmart™ verification camera and software to provide a fully integrated direct part marking and verification solution. The VeriSmart™ camera has been specifically designed to mount onto the machine's X,Y and powered Z axes for integrated in-cycle verification.

Hardware Features/Options
Marking Window
Two standard window sizes ensure the marking area matches application requirements closely. X-Y dimensions from 100mm x 75mm to 150mm x 150mm.
Z-axis Column
Standard column length gives 375mm of clearance between the bottom of the solenoid and the base table. With the optional T-slot base plate fitted this reduces to 360mm. If a larger clearance distance is required this can be achieved using the various optional spacer blocks available. Z-axis columns are manually adjustable as standard with electrically driven systems optional.
Separate Stop/Start Box
Supplied as standard with all the machines.
Circumferential Axis
Designed for marking on the circumference of round work pieces. Standard and customized circumferential devices are available as options.
Autosense
When fitted on machines with the electric z-axis option the autosense system automatically positions the stylus in exactly the correct position for the work piece placed on the table.
Barcode Reading
A range of Barcode readers can be supplied and linked to the Multidot 3000 system to help simplify the transfer of data on the shopfloor. The standard digital interface includes two RS232 serial ports and digital I/O to ensure any Multidot 3000 system can be fully interfaced to existing customers' tooling and control/IT systems.

Keyboard
Sealed membrane keyboard integrated into the controller unit, additional PS/2 port for interfacing to external keyboards.
Name Plate Fixtures
Special fixtures purposely designed to hold securely a wide range of labels, nameplates and tags.
Cold Foil Feed Systems
Used for applications where high visibility marks are required by use of different colour foils.
Label-Feed Systems
Custom automatic label feed systems (multiple station) can be supplied for applications where high volume, high variety labels are required within the production environment.
Twin Head Machines
For use when marking cycle time is critical. Twin headed systems can double production output or halve cycle time. Each head can be configured to mark different data within a single cycle.
Stylus Options
50, 100, 150 and 300mm lengths available. Solid Carbide, sharp point and mini-stress tipped styli available on request. Customized variations available.
